White and Burgundy Lace Beaded Collar
A delicate, handcrafted statement collar made bead by bead by Anastasia, a Ukrainian artisan.
This White and Burgundy Lace Beaded Collar features intricate ivory white beadwork accented with deep burgundy red beads in a repeating openwork pattern. The necklace forms a graceful curved collar around the neckline, with dozens of finely constructed pointed drops creating a lace inspired edge.
The combination of white and rich burgundy gives the piece a refined, almost ceremonial quality. From a distance, the necklace has the elegance of traditional lace. Up close, the individual beads reveal the remarkable amount of handwork involved in creating its repeating geometric structure.
The design is inspired by traditional Ukrainian bead weaving and is best described as a Merezhka / Kryza style collar, combining open lattice beadwork with the broad decorative shape associated with Ukrainian collar necklaces.
Instead of a metal clasp, the necklace uses a traditional style red cord tie closure with fringed tassel ends. This allows the wearer to adjust how closely the collar sits around the neckline while adding another handcrafted detail to the piece.
Its white and burgundy palette pairs especially well with black, cream, ivory, burgundy, charcoal, forest green, and other solid colors. It can be worn with a simple dress or blouse for an elegant statement, or styled as a cultural or artistic centerpiece.

A Purchase With Meaning
Anastasia is a single mother from Ukraine's Donbas region. After Russia's invasion forced her to leave her home and relocate to the opposite side of the country, the town and home she knew were destroyed.
She continues supporting herself and her son through the work she can create with her own hands.
Each necklace requires patience, concentration, and countless individual bead placements. Her jewelry carries both Ukrainian craft tradition and the personal story of a woman rebuilding her life through her skill.
When you purchase one of Anastasia's pieces, you are purchasing original handmade work directly connected to the artisan who created it.
You are not simply buying jewelry. You are supporting her craftsmanship, independence, and ability to provide for her son.
